Colorful Felix the Cat ashtray or candy dish

It is most unusual to find Felix the Cat done in any colors besides black and white. This charming figure is marked made in Japan and is most likely from the 1930’s. It is near mint, with just a tiny bit of paint missing from the feet, and you can barely see this. Dimensions are 5 inches across by 3-1/2 inches high. This figure really stands out among a group of black Felix figures. Most likely it was meant for use as an ashtry or perhaps a small candy dish.
