Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about Dr. Jan’s Cartoon Cat House!
Q. Do you have a catalog you can send me? A. There is not a paper catalog that is currently available.
Q How can I order if I don’t have a computer? A. If you do not have a computer, there are still several ways to view all the great Felix products. Many public libraries and community colleges have computers with internet access. With a regular printer you can print any of the pages and make your own catalog if you like. You can always persuade a good friend with a computer to help you out, too.
To order without a computer, just print out the order form and make up your order that way. You can then mail it in (the regular way) or call up with your order. The mailing address is: Dr Jan’s Cartoon Cat House, 316 Midvalley Center #115, Carmel, CA 93923 USA
Q, Do you have a store I can visit when I am in town? A. Dr. Jan’s Cartoon Cat House does not have a real-time store. It is a part-time business established exclusively to aid Felix collectors in finding all kinds of things for their collections.
Q. Do you ship to foreign countries? How much does it cost? A. Dr. Jan’s Cartoon Cat House can ship just about any place in the world! Foreign shipment costs are based on the size and weight of the package as well as the country of destination. If you want an order to be shipped outside of the United States we can’t tell you the cost until we know what you plan to order. Currently the order form does not allow you to enter foreign addresses; however,.if you live outside the United States and wish to place an order, please send an email through the "CONTACT" link for futher information.
Q. Is it safe to give you my credit card number over the internet? A.Yes, it is. The form where you put in your payment information is SECURE. This means that your information is scrambled, or encrypted, as it is sent to me. You can also tell by looking at the page address; it starts with "HTTPS" instead of "HTTP." The "S" means it is secure.
Q. Do you share my information with any other companies? A. Absolutely NOT. Any information you provide, from your e-mail address to your ordering habits, stays RIGHT HERE!. Q. What is your return policy? A. Your order can be returned if you are not happy with it, as long as the item or items are in the SAME condition in which you received them. If you wish to return an item, please notify us within 2 weeks of receipt. Shipping charges are not reimbursed unless you receive the wrong item. Christmas items such as cards and ornaments are not returnable.
Q. How long does it take to get my order? A. Most instock items can be shipped with in a day or two. Most of our domestic shipping is done with Fed Ex Ground.. This is our preferred method of shipping because your order can be shipped promptly, tracked for its progress, and insured for its value at a very reasonable cost. Fed Ex takes anywhere from one day, for in-state deliveries, to 5 days for coast-to-coast shipments. Other arrangments may need to be made for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, as well as to foreign countries.
Q. What if I receive an item that is damaged? A. If you receive an item that is damaged, please notify us right away. You may also need to save the packaging in case the shipping company needs to inspect it. We will make every effort to replace your item promptly at no charge to you. Unlike some companies, we do not insist that you must wait for the shipping company to finish its claim process in order to receive your replacement or refund. We make every effort to pack carefully to protect your order, and we know that ultimately it is our responsibility to get it to you safely.
Q. Are the items I see on your site new or used? A. Just about everything is new and unused. The exception is vintage items that are from the 1920’s and 1930’s cannot be considered new. Anything else that is NOT new will have that noted in the item description.
Q. Why didn’t I get an answer to the "contact" form I submitted? A. Occasionally we receive a form with an invalid e-mail address. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR CORRECT E-MAIL ADDRESS. Otherwise there is no way to get back to you. We try to answer all inquiries promptly unless technical issues make it impossible, and in that case we cannot let you know. That is very frustrating as we would like to answer your questions whenever possible!
